In January 2007 I started a junior club at Lewes. It has proved to be a very rewarding experience and in the past two years the club has achieved considerable success in the local junior league and many triumphs in junior tournaments.
A very enthusiastic membership of over 20 youngsters has been built up and we now have a waiting list to join the club.
Two of the older members now regularly attend senior club night and both are benefitting from a higher level of play. With the help from two qualified coaches we are aiming to expand the club and give many more youngsters the opportunity to play badminton.
